Electronic Bidding Process/SRP No. 001/2023: Intermunicipal Consortium of Vale do Rio Cuiabá publishes PRICE REGISTRATION RECORD No. 001/2023 for the supply and installation of a photovoltaic generator

Consórcio Intermunicipal do Vale do Rio Cuiabá signs contract with the company VOLT ENERGIA LTDA for the supply of photovoltaic generators

On June 21, 2023, the Consórcio Intermunicipal do Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social do Vale do Rio Cuiabá, represented by its Secretary Mr. Antenor de Figueiredo Neto, formalized a Price Registration contract with the company VOLT ENERGIA LTDA. The purpose of the contract is the supply and installation of photovoltaic generators at different locations.

The Consortium, a Public Legal Entity headquartered in Cuiabá/MT, held a bidding process in the form of an Electronic Reverse Auction/Price Registration, in which the company VOLT ENERGIA LTDA was declared the winner. The contract was established based on the rules of Lei 10.520/2002 (which establishes the reverse auction procurement modality), Decreto 10.024/2019 (which regulates the electronic reverse auction), and, subsidiarily, Lei 8.666/93 (the former general public procurement law) and its amendments.

The Price Registration Record implies a commitment to supply under the conditions set forth in the bidding notice. Should any ranked supplier unjustifiably refuse to sign the record within the established deadline, the penalties provided for in the bidding notice will be applied.

One of the advantages of this type of contract is that the Price Registration Record may be used by any municipal body or entity of the Administration that did not take part in the bidding process, provided there is prior consultation with the managing body and the advantage is duly demonstrated.

Bodies and entities that did not take part in the Electronic Reverse Auction/Price Registration must formally submit their request and expression of interest to the body managing the Record. It will be up to the company VOLT ENERGIA LTDA, as the beneficiary of the price registration record, to decide whether or not to accept the supply resulting from the adherence, provided that this does not harm the obligations undertaken with the managing body and the participating bodies.

It is important to note that additional contracting may not exceed, per body or entity, one hundred percent of the quantities registered in the Price Registration Record. Furthermore, the total quantity resulting from adherences to the price registration record may not exceed, in total, five times the quantity of each item registered in the record for the managing body and participating bodies, regardless of the number of non-participating bodies that adhere.

With the Price Registration contract signed, the Consórcio Intermunicipal do Vale do Rio Cuiabá seeks to promote the use of renewable energy, contributing to the sustainability and economic development of the region.
