Regulation of the Access to Information Law (LAI)
This document regulates, within the scope of CIDES-VRC, access to information as provided for in Lei nº 12.527/2011 (LAI) (Brazil's Access to Information Law).
Citizen Information Service (SIC)
The SIC is the channel for information access requests, available electronically through the Access to Information (e-SIC) form and in person at the Ombudsman's Office address.
Deadlines
A response will be provided within 20 days, extendable by a further 10 days upon justification. An appeal may be filed against a denial, in 1st and 2nd instances.
Identification
The information request requires identification of the requester (name, ID document, and email), without excessive requirements.
