Intermunicipal Consortium signs R$ 17 million agreement with the State Government for land regularization in Baixada Cuiabana

The president of the Consórcio Intermunicipal de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social Vale do Rio Cuiabá, Mr. Silmar de Souza Gonçalves, signs the agreement with the Governor of the State of Mato Grosso, the Legislative Assembly of the State of Mato Grosso, and INTERMAT, an agreement worth R$ 17 million for land regularization in the municipalities of the Baixada Cuiabana.

This Tuesday, the president of the Consórcio Intermunicipal de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social Vale do Rio Cuiabá, Mr. Silmar de Souza Gonçalves, attended a meeting with the Governor of the State of Mato Grosso and representatives of the Legislative Assembly of the State and the Instituto de Terras de Mato Grosso (INTERMAT), where an important agreement worth R$ 17 million was signed. The purpose of the agreement is to boost land regularization in the municipalities of the Baixada Cuiabana.

The signing of the agreement represents a significant milestone for the region, since land regularization is a long-standing demand of local communities, who face challenges related to land and property occupation.
